Since it's almost half way through April, I thought I better get my act together with the redwork Christmas quilt.
So when we went to Murray Bridge for Easter I took along the block I was working on, with the intentions to finish it and design the next one. Surprisingly, I managed to accomplish both.
Here is a picture of the first block finished:
I actually found the time to stitch part of the second block I designed too. It was a lot simpler than the first block, so took hardly any time at all. Here is a picture of the second block:
I now just need to stitch the words "At Christmas play and make good cheer, for Christmas comes but once a year" and I will be ready to tackle the design for the 3rd block!
I am hoping to be finished the second block by the end of the week. Wish me luck!
