What is there not to love about this time of year? The weather is great, there are more daylight hours and there are so many inspiring spring fabrics around - You couldn't ask for anything more!
Last weekend my lovely Mother-in-law and I spent a bit of time at the local Lincraft store, perusing the beautiful, spring (albeit girly) fabrics. I resisted the urge to purchase any *sob*sob* and instead just bought some unisex fabrics for the hooded towels I am making.
This week though a friend gave birth to a little baby girl, Isabella Rose. Those fabrics, and all the things I could make with them, came to the forefront of my mind. Then on Saturday morning, I was minding my own business when I received an email stating that Lincraft was having a 30% off storewide sale. Well surely these two events occurring within days of each other were a sign that the fabrics needed to be purchased...
So yesterday (despite how absolutely wrecked I was) I trundled off to Lincraft and bought my collection of girly spring fabrics:
There is one particular piece that I am absolutely in love with. Here is a close up of it:
During my spring fabric travels I also found a piece of funky spotty muslin that was a little more unisex, so I boutht that too:
I am going to make a medium-weight wrap out of for Darth as most of the ones we have are either very light-weight or heavy-weight.
Has anyone noticed that my list of projects doesn't seem to get any smaller??? lol
